This policy explains what Lotser collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect
We collect the information you provide, including your email address, display name, home profile, photos, saved homes, purchase-interest choices, area alerts, reports, and messages sent through the service. We also record basic technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, and measure Lotser, such as page views, device or browser data, and timestamps.
Home claims and identity checks
To reduce false ownership claims, we may compare a standardized address with public property records and ask you to complete an identity check. Stripe handles driver's-license capture, authenticity checks, and selfie matching. Lotser receives verification results and match indicators, not your license or selfie images. Public-record data may include names associated with a property.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, publish home profiles, verify claims, prevent duplicate or fraudulent profiles, provide saved-home and area alerts, show private homeowner statistics, moderate content, process realtor applications and payments, and improve the service.
When information is shared
Home profiles and approved photos are public. Saved homes are private. If you explicitly select purchase interest after seeing the contact notice, your name, email, and the relevant home may be shared with approved real estate professionals who have access to that market or home. A professional may separately choose to publish business contact information, brokerage, service description, and website in a clearly labeled sponsored profile. Lotser does not publish those optional profile details until the professional enables the profile. We also use service providers for hosting, database and authentication, email, payments and identity checks, address services, and property-record matching. They process information to provide those services.
Your choices
You can edit your display name and home profile, remove photos, change notification choices, withdraw purchase interest, download a copy of your Lotser data, and submit or cancel an account-deletion request from Account settings. We may retain limited records when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, disputes, legal obligations, or financial recordkeeping.
Security and children
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Lotser is not directed to children under 18, and users must be at least 18 years old.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Lotser changes. The effective date above will identify the current version. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hello@signalmodemedia.com.
